This 8"x6" cutting board is perfect for prepping limes and lemons for cocktails, cutting tomatoes or onions for sandwiches, or preparing your morning coffee with a French Press.  It has a juice groove on both sides to catch liquid runoff.  Made of Cherry, Purple Heart, and Padauk woods, it is durable and adds beauty and sophistication to any kitchen or bar task.
No dyes or stains are used; these are the natural colors of the wood.  
 
As with all of our kitchen and serving products, this Bar Board has undergone a multi stage finishing process, including several steps of sanding, a dunk in a water bath (to raise the grain), an additional, superfine sanding (to knock the grain back down), and finally a food grade oil and wax finish.  Without the water bath/final sanding step the grain would rise the first time it was washed by you, giving the slicer a rough, or "furry", feel.  Taking these steps helps minimize that effect.
